KEVADA BREATHWORK was founded in 2024 by Jasmin Bachmann. It serves as a three layers healing approach. Connecting and looking at all three parts of yourself. Your body (physical layer) your brain (emotional layer) and your mind (energetic layer).

BREATH

Your breath is the link between body, brain and mind.

Every single day, you take about 23.000 breaths. Breathing, one of the most fundamental and crucial qualities for human life, often is taken for granted without giving it more conscious attention. At first sight, this behavior pattern makes perfect sense. We go through our everyday life, mainly characterised by a busy timetable and external distractions. Our minds constantly stressed about the future or triggered by fears from the past. So why even start to bother about becoming more aware of our breath when our body is already capable of breathing subconsciously without our awareness? The answer is quite simple: Because it is our own breath that has the capability to bring our body, mind and brain back in the moment. Conscious breathing actively allows us to come back into the present, creating a healthy boundary to our future (stress) and past (fears).

By practicing to breath consciously using specific breathing techniques, we can actively gain access to our Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) which is responsible for managing and regulating our involuntary stress (fight and flight) and relaxation (rest and digest) response (eg. release of stress and happy hormones, digestion, freeze and shock response). If we don`t focus on our breathing, it is like sitting on the passenger seat in your own car. You still will get to the destination somehow, but only by giving up the control of the brake, speed and steering wheel. The Autonomic Nervous System being the driver, constantly controlling involuntary body functions for us. So by “simply” starting to become aware of our breath, we create the chance to take over the control of our car again. Becoming our own driver, capable of regulating our Nervous System which therefore can be seen as the root of mental, emotional and physical health.

Breathwork is a BOTTOM UP THERAPY approach for: Self Development, Emotional Release, Somatic Trauma Therapy

Breathwork in general refers to intentional breathing techniques that expand awareness - creating a bridge to the subconscious by reaching an altered state of mind. With greatly enhancing physical, emotional and spiritual change, Breathwork often gets described as a healing modality, effecting physical and mental wellbeing. It is a Bottom Up Therapy approach, which means the focus lays on relearning your body and brain to feel sensations (past experiences, hold on emotions etc) from the inside out. Creating space to process and let go of old matter on a cellular level. Creating change from the root up.

Kevada Breathwork is a combination of Breathwork, Acupressure and Energy Work. A combined experience of Transformation and Healing.

The goal of KEVADA Breathwork is to deeply combine different tools that have the ability to access and transform all three parts of yourself. Your body (physical layer) your brain (emotional layer) and your mind (energetic layer). With the combination of specific breathing techniques (Breathwork), Acupressure (Bodywork) and Energy Work, KEVADA Breathwork creates a safe space to reconnect with all three layers.

Below are possible guidelines, intuitively decide what resonates the most with you and prepare yourself from there.

NUTRITION

Our nutrition has a great impact on our inner digestion and outer comfort. Especially heavy foods (eg. processed meals) and “false stimulants” like coffee, energy drinks, drugs, produce an overdrive pace - forcing your digestive system to work at high speed and your nervous system to switch into fight or flight (stress response). Become aware of your intuitive eating and listen to your body what it needs. If possible, try to cut out any false stimulants and heavy foods on the day of your session. Treat you body with love.

JOURNAL

Journaling is a great tool to translate the energy of your thoughts onto paper and further put them into action. Observing and writing down your thoughts can help to decrease mental stress and confusion.

  • What believes and patters have I adopted from my family that I question now?

AFTER YOUR SESSION

Always remember that the integration of a session is a deeply personal, unique and transformative process that unfolds over time. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Trust in your inner self, be patient with yourself, and allow the experience to guide you as you continue to grow and evolve.

A session may be transformative and impactful, that may shift the understanding of yourself or others. However, for the experience to have lasting effects and meaningful change, one of the most important steps is to integrate it into one's life intentionally. For real change, it is primary crucial to step up for yourself - putting in effort even if sometimes that seems hard in the moment.

Here are some optional ideas to consider when it comes to integrating a session:

Reflection
Taking time to reflect on the experience in your personal way. Journaling about it, transforming the experience into art (Painting, Music etc.) or discussing it with a trusted friend or family member can help deepen your understanding of its significance and insights.

Practices
Engaging in somatic and mindful practices such as meditation or yoga, can help you stay connected to the essence of the experience and cultivate a sense of awareness in your daily life.

Continued Learning
Engaging in further study, reading and trying new practices related to the experience can deepen your understanding and provide additional insights. Check out recommended books and more in the Science Hub.

Seeking Guidance & Support
If questions arise after a session, seek guidance from Jasmin. This can provide clarity and support in the integration process. Talking and opening up often feels like the biggest challenge but it is also the first step for acknowledging yourself and the key for growth.

Emotional Processing
Acknowledging and processing any intense emotions that arose during or after the experience, such as joy, anger, or confusion, can help you make sense of the experience and integrate its emotional impact into your psyche.

Acceptance and Surrender
Embracing the uncertainties that may accompany the integration process and practicing acceptance to the unfolding journey, can bring a sense of peace and trust in the process. Feel into you body - let it rest if it seeks rest or transform a high energy level into physical and mental action.

Gratitude Practice
Cultivating a sense of gratitude for the experience and its impact on your life may deepen your connection to the experience and create a positive perspective on the changes it has brought about. Practicing self-compassion throughout the process, especially if you encounter resistance, can help to guide the journey with kindness and patience.

Grounding by connecting with Nature
Spending time in nature and connecting with the natural world can help ground you and provide a sense of peace and harmony as you integrate.

Accepting Change
Recognizing that integrating may lead to changes in your behavior, relationships, or life path, and being open to these shifts with acceptance can support your growth.
